Paper [14] was selected as the «National Contribution of Greece to IFORS 1993 (International Federation of Operations Research Societies)» by the Greek OR Society and was also selected to appear in issue 1, vol. 1 of ITORS, a new academic journal announced with an open letter by the Editor-in-Chief, Professor Peter C. Bell as follows: “Dear colleague: … IFORS decided to launch a new international journal: ‘International Transactions in Operational Research’. In November 1993, ITOR will begin publication dedicated to publishing the best papers presented at the IFORS conferences…”.
